Can I Get A Free Instant Credit Report?

I think wee allowed to get one once a year is that true?

If so, where exactly? And can I get the credit report for free?

Thanks.

Can I Get A Free Instant Credit Report?

Yes it is really free. The site below is the official site.

Can I Get A Free Instant Credit Report?

Yes, it%26#039;s true - usually through direct services you are allowed one free. However, if you want to monitor yours, you can try programs that will do it for a small fee a month. I do strongly recommend PrivacyGuard.com

This will allow you a trial for about 30 or 60 days to monitor your credit from ALL three branches from Equifax, Transunion, and Experian whereas some places that do give a free credit report just one report from one branch. Within 30-60, you can monitor how you%26#039;re doing and this will also help you with your scenarios. For example, how many points you%26#039;ll lose or get if you spend this much or pay that much.

You%26#039;ll need a debit or credit card to try this program out but it%26#039;s worth it, just cancel before 30 or 60 days whichever program they have to offer if you don%26#039;t want to pay the fee.

Another site is FreeCreditReport.com which gives you one report, usually from Experian unless you want to pay more for all three. Again, this is also a trial but you do get to see your credit report with these two sites I recommended.

You get it at

https://www.annualcreditreport.com

and you can get it three times a year if you ask only one of the reporting agencies for a report every four months.

If you go directly to the site of the three agencies: Experian, Equifax, or TransUnion, they will charge for the report. Also, when you ask for your free report, they will suggest you buy your credit score from them. The free report does not include your credit score. You have to pay for that, but you don%26#039;t really need it.
