A bank used my social security number for a loan on a car which was reposessed. This shows on my credit report when I was 15yrs old. Now I have bad credit, that isn%26#039;t even mine. I have filed a discrepency with the credit union, and also spoke with the bank. Therefore, this problem should have been rectified over a year ago. I filed for my yearly credit report, and the information is still there and they won%26#039;t give me my reports. I need to find out what I can do. This has to be illegal because the situation has already been brought to the banks attention and they didn%26#039;t do anything.
I need find out what to do about incorrect info on my credit report.A company messed up and used my soc.sec#.?

Get a letter from the bank and file it with the credit reporting agencies yourself. If they are unable to work with you, check the government websites on identity theft.
